35th Anniversary: Damien Center Mosaic Workshop
Damien Center Mosaic Workshop at Marigold Clothing!
Tuesday, September 10, 4:00 - 6:00pm
Help create a mosaic honoring the history of HIV/AIDS in Indianapolis and the current community of people living with HIV. This workshop will allow you to be part of a 1700 square foot mosaic mural that will be installed at Damien Center on Indianapolis's near east side.
Join Joani Rothenberg and Ben Aquila for some hands-on community-building and art-making fun!
No experience is needed. All materials will be provided.
Activities will include:
Clay painting: Working with clay pieces to paint individual pieces that will be added to the mosaic
Mosaic making: Placing pieces of colorful glass down to create a pattern
